The Royal Pop dropped on 16 May 2026 and the watch world lost its mind. A mechanical pocket watch in an iconic octagonal ceramic case, for under €400. One of the most talked-about pieces of horology in years.

But the moment you got it home, the same question hit everyone: how do you actually wear this thing on your wrist?

It comes with a calfskin lanyard. A beautiful one, honestly. But most people don't carry pocket watches. That gap — between what the Royal Pop is and what people want it to be — is exactly where Royal Wristband was born.

The problem we set out to solve

We're Royal Pop owners. We love the watch. But we found ourselves looking at it every day on the desk instead of on the wrist. The lanyard felt like a compromise. We wanted a real solution — not a hack, not tape and hope. A precision-engineered wrist adapter that treats the Royal Pop with the respect it deserves.

What we built

Royal Wristband was among the first wrist adapter systems made for the Royal Pop, shipping within days of the watch's release. The principle has not changed since:

  • A colour-matched case frame — machined to the Royal Pop's 40 mm octagonal geometry
  • A secure receiver — the Royal Pop snaps in using its own native clip, with no metal-on-case contact
