How to Wear the Royal Pop on Your Wrist
Share
The Royal Pop is the most talked-about watch release of 2026. A mechanical movement inside an octagonal ceramic case — and it ships as a pocket watch. No lugs. No strap. No way to put it on your wrist.
That's the problem every Royal Pop owner faces the moment they open the box. You're holding a €400 collector's piece with the silhouette of a luxury sports watch — and the only way to wear it is on a lanyard.
Why the Royal Pop doesn't come with a wrist strap
Its makers designed the Royal Pop around a modular pocket-watch concept — a case that pops in and out of different carriers. The lanyard in the box is the official carry method. But the moment collectors saw the octagonal ceramic case, they wanted it on the wrist. The silhouette demands it.
The solution: a wrist adapter
A wrist adapter is a case frame that accepts the Royal Pop head the same way the original lanyard does, then gives it a strap or bracelet. No tools. No modification. No permanent commitment. The Royal Pop clicks in, sits flush, and looks like it was always meant to be there. Click it back out when you want the lanyard again.
How it works
- Hold the Royal Pop over the adapter's receiver.
- Press gently until you hear and feel the click.
- The watch is now locked into the adapter.
- Wear it on your wrist exactly like a wristwatch.
- To remove — press the release and the Royal Pop pops straight back out.
Four ways to wear it
Royal Wristband makes four systems, all fitting every Royal Pop colourway and both crown positions:
- Sport Rubber — €129 — the lightest option, 35 colourways, best for daily wear and sport
- Pop Ceramic — €179 — the same material family as the watch case, 18 colourways, the closest to a factory bracelet
- Royal Steel Frame System — €239 — stainless steel bezel with a rubber strap, in silver, black or rose gold
- Royal Full-Steel System — €299 — full steel frame and bracelet, sized at home with the included tool
Compatible with all 8 Royal Pop colourways
Every adapter is colour-matched across the 8 official colourways and works in both crown positions — Lépine with the crown at 12, and Savonnette with the crown at 3, as on the Lan Ba and Otg Roz. Whether you have the Orenji Hachi, Ocho Negro, Lan Ba or any other reference, there is a matching adapter.
Numbered, limited batches
Adapters are produced in numbered, limited batches. Each unit ships with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and a premium magnetic presentation box, and Pop Ceramic and steel models include the adjusting tool for sizing at home.
